Children Provided with Nutritional Food by GE Foundation at Anganwadi Center
Beneficiaries Informed About Government Schemes, Urged to Join the Fight Against Malnutrition
Bhilai: Under its Suposhan Abhiyan (Nutrition Campaign), the social service organization Golden Empathy (GE) Foundation distributed nutritional food at the Anganwadi center located at Shastri Chowk, Shastri Nagar-1, and Teen Darshan Mandir. During the event, beneficiaries were informed about various government schemes and encouraged to take part in efforts to protect children from malnutrition.
As part of the campaign, GE Foundation members visited the Shastri Nagar Anganwadi on Tuesday. They provided protein powder, soya nuggets, and biscuits as nutritional supplements to children. Mothers were educated on measures to combat malnutrition in children. During the event, the mothers took an oath to ensure their children receive proper nutrition.
Anganwadi supervisor Anju Yadav encouraged all eligible beneficiaries of the Noni Yojana to register at the Anganwadi center. She also provided detailed information regarding the Mahatari Vandan Yojana, explaining the process for returning transferred funds to the state government in case of a beneficiary’s demise.
From GE Foundation, coordinator Pradeep Pillai urged parents to get Aadhaar cards made for children aged 0-5 years. He also explained the necessary formalities for the same to the beneficiary mothers.
The event was attended by Anganwadi workers Savita Dakore, Tabassum, Rukmini Chandrakar, Ranjana Bagde, and Rukmini Kashyap, along with GE Foundation members Prakash Deshmukh, Sonam Sagar, Vishakha Mangude, and several others.
